15 minutes and 15 questions with…Liz
Each month we will be featuring one of our Wonder Women in our 15 minutes and 15 questions with… This month its the turn of Liz. Liz has been training with WWWUK for years and is a regular at the Friday morning sessions, she also joined us on our trip away to climb Snowdon and had a great time…read on to find out more.
1) How long have you been training?
About 4 years
2) What do enjoy most about training with WWWUK?
The different style of training, great atmosphere and great people to train alongside as well as great trainers.
3) What are your current goals?
To get stronger and fitter and to be able to run a 10k without having to stop halfway.
4) What do you do outside of training?
Spend time with my daughter and partner.
5) Favourite clean meal?
Sweet potato fries and hidden fishy cakes
6) Favourite cheat meal?
Spinach and mozzarella stone baked pizza
7) Favourite exercise?
Turkish get ups
8) Most dreaded exercise?
9) Toughest challenge to date?
Having a baby as you put your body through a lot of different things. Also I climbed Snowdon in the pouring rain and did not give up even though I was soaked through to the bone. I reached the top and had a good time too.
10) Favourite sports shop?
Sports direct – he runs/she runs range
11) Who inspires you?
Suzie because she is a great trainer, she encourages you to work on your weaknesses and never give up making you capable of seeing things through.
12) What does a regular day consist of?
Alarm goes of at 5:45, I get myself ready for work and then get my daughter ready for school. Prepare lunches and then rush about getting my daughter to breakfast club and myself to work. I then work a full day before collecting my daughter from the childminders, the evening is spent with my daughter and preparing dinner before bed. Repeat.
13) Something you cant live without?
My partner and daughter
14) If you were an animal what would you be?
An elephant, because I rarely forget things.
15) Anything to add?
I used to belong to a gym but the staff were never around to make sure you were using the equipment correctly and so I didn’t really see results. Now if I miss one weeks training with WWWUKmy body feels it and I notice it the next time I train. All the people are awesome and support you in all that you want to achieve.
