15 minutes and 15 questions with…Steph

Steph has been training in the outdoor group sessions for about 6 weeks and immediately got stuck into the community, she attended her first 3 hour Wonder Woman Workshop last month and loved every minute of it. Read all about Steph below!

1. How long have you been training?

I started training with WWWUK just over a month ago, but i’ve always been active in the gym, running or involved in various sports.

2. What do you enjoy most about training with WWWUK?

After being sat behind a desk all day, the last thing I want to do is go to the gym & train inside, so being outside is perfect. But most of all it is the fab people i’ve met so far & the variety of the sessions. Never quite sure what I’m letting myself in for when I show up, but I am yet to be disappointed (even if I am exhausted by the end).

3. What are your current goals?

Trying to shift some pounds but mostly to get stronger, fitter & have a laugh with some like-minded people.

4. What do you do outside of training?

Exercise wise I like trail running, otherwise just seeing friends & sleeping!

5. Favourite clean meal?

Probably steak & sweet potato with loads of veggies or salad.

6. Favourite cheat meal?

Dominoes Pizza!

7. Favourite exercise?

I love boxing. Nothing better than punching some pads on a Monday morning!

8. Most dreaded exercise?

Until recently I would have said burpees… but it’s definitely now Mountain Climbers!

9. Biggest achievement to date?

Completing the London Marathon this year. It was in a particularly slow time (5hrs 51mins), mostly due to injury, but that just means i’ve got a target for the next one!

10. Favourite Sports Shop?

11. Who inspires you?

Everyone who trains with WWWUK. I’ve never trained anywhere that is as friendly & encouraging as this group or that pushes me to to go 1kg heavier or one rep further in every session.

12. What does a regular day consist of?

Usually training & working, then either going out with friends or catching up on much needed sleep!

13. Something you can’t live without?

Coffee. I’m best left alone until i’ve consumed at least 1 cup in the morning!

14. If you were an animal, what would you be?

Hmmm… maybe a Dolphin, they look like they have a lot of fun.
