I have one rule when it comes to burpees.
DO NOT STOP MOVING!
The movement requires you to lay on your belly on the ground and get back up again into standing – sometimes a jump and clap at the top.
There’s no added load, no equipment and plenty of variations to play around with if something is too hard /easy ie stepping the feet back instead of jumping or adding the jump and clap instead of standing tall.
What about technique? Of course there’s technique for efficiency / speed but even with super sonic efficient burpees, you still don’t need to stop moving.
So what we’re looking at is… lay down, stand up and repeat. There’s no need to rest, you can slow down or change it up but don’t stop!
Next time you’re doing burpees and you’re thinking of stopping remember DO NOT STOP MOVING!
